In a major boost to connectivity in this frontier state, the Railways has started the final location survey to connect the towns of Tawang, Aalo and Pasighat with a broad gauge (BG) line. ITANAGAR, Apr 12: Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) has tied up with the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (ESSL), a Guwahati based company, to launch energy efficient LED bulbs and LED tube lights at subsidised rates under UJALA Yojana scheme of the Central Government.   Lohit became the first district in Arunachal to launch the scheme.Under the scheme, 9W LED Bulbs and 20W LED tube lights will now cost Rs 70 and Rs 230 respectively, a marked reduction from the current market prices.
