As part of its CSR initiatives, ONGC board has approved setting up of the hospital at Rajabari in Sivasagar. The hospital will be developed in three phases at a total cost of Rs 313 crore. The ONGC board has accorded sanction of Rs 99.09 crore towards construction of the first phase of the hospital.
The implementing agency – BAVP – is operating a 400-based hospital at Aurangabad for more than 25 years now.

“A few days back, Baba Ramdev telephoned me and said he will set up Patanjali’s largest unit in Assam. Initially, they thought they would invest Rs 1,200 crore, but it has been increased to Rs 1,500 crore,” Assam’s Industry minister Chandra Mohan Patoway said.
“Patanjali is planning to manufacture products worth Rs 40,000 crore in the State. For that, the company will need herbs and leaves worth Rs 2,000 crore. This will be brought from the state farmers. Nurseries will come up across the State,” he said.
The agreement, inked at the German Embassy in the presence of German Ambassador Martin Ney, was between the German Development Bank (KfW) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), under the Ministry of Power.
The agreement was signed by Selva Kumar, Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Saurabh Kumar, Managing Director of EESL, Norbert Kloppenburg, member of the Executive Board of KfW, and Roland Siller, member of the Management Committee of KfW, said a German embassy statement.
He was speaking at the inauguration of new ventilator machines at Delhi government's Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital. A total of 125 new ventilator machines have been provided to several Delhi government hospitals as part of improvement in medical treatment in these hospitals.
A ventilator is a machine designed to move breathable air into and out of the lungs, to provide breathing for a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently.

“The allocation for education is 11,300 crore which is 24 per cent of the total budget. We were the first government to allocate maximum share to the education (sector) and this is the consecutive third year that we have been doing that,” he said.
